My friend's. Powered by Bottlehead 300B monoblocks. The guy is contemplating on buying a Jean Hiraga 604's with 604-8G if possible. I own a pair and these replaced with the 8G's, the two drivers sounds totally different.

I am looking at that same tv stand @ Ikea....

The system looks great. It is what I am planning on doing....I am not sure about running my tube gear in one of those closed in spaces though.....worry about heat dissipation, or too much heat build up. Maybe with fans mounted in the back, it could help displace it. Looks great though,.....

    Nifty stands for the OB's!

I assume the bottom of the stand is a slide, such that he can alter the angle of the baffle?

Any idea where get got the stands?

    Hey Chris,

Nah, you are looking at his system "after listening" sessions. It's cumbersome yes, but the only thing powered inside that rack is a preamp. The SS amps were never use. Only when he was listening to maggies which are now in the garage, thus, the MYE stands on the GPA's.

FWIW, the guy has the 19's, replaced by these now, in the garage with plastic bags.

Not the bottom, but the brace is adjustable. The bottom can be adjusted by using shims to tilt the baffle plate.

Yes. Those are MYE Stands use for his Magnepan 1.6QR's. No affiliation, but the site is here https://myesound.com/Pricing.html

Nice looking system and I bet it sounds great. I took a peak over at the Mye sounds site and discovered his pricing, ahem. I'm not saying they are not worth the price or that the mfg. is overcharging, it just shocks me because I know the total cost of materials, approximately. You know you're getting old when everything induces sticker-shock.
